1이스라엘 자손들아 여호와의 말씀을 들으라 여호와께서 이 땅 거민과 쟁변하시나니 이 땅에는 진실도 없고 인애도 없고 하나님을 아는 지식도 없고
1Hear Yahweh’s word, you children of Israel; for Yahweh has a charge against the inhabitants of the land: “Indeed there is no truth, nor goodness, nor knowledge of God in the land.
2오직 저주와 사위와 살인과 투절과 간음뿐이요 강포하여 피가 피를 뒤대임이라
2There is cursing, lying, murder, stealing, and committing adultery; they break boundaries, and bloodshed causes bloodshed.
3그러므로 이 땅이 슬퍼하며 무릇 거기 거하는 자와 들짐승과 공중에 나는 새가 다 쇠잔할 것이요 바다의 고기도 없어지리라
3Therefore the land will mourn, and everyone who dwells therein will waste away. all living things in her, even the animals of the field and the birds of the sky; yes, the fish of the sea also die.
4그러나 아무 사람이든지 다투지도 말며 책망하지도 말라 네 백성들이 제사장과 다투는 자 같이 되었음이니라
4“Yet let no man bring a charge, neither let any man accuse; For your people are like those who bring charges against a priest.
5너는 낮에 거치겠고 너와 함께 있는 선지자는 밤에 거치리라 내가 네 어미를 멸하리라
5You will stumble in the day, and the prophet will also stumble with you in the night; and I will destroy your mother.
